How we use AI

What the AI does

The story, illustrations, colouring pages and narration in BabyBook are created by AI models. They receive your answers to the questions: your child's name, age and gender, interests, theme and illustration style, plus a photo or a description of their appearance if you added one. Requests go through the AITUNNEL aggregator. We choose the models by quality and change them now and then, so we don't name them here.

Checks in the bot

• Your answers pass automatic moderation. The bot rejects answers that are rude, illegal or unsuitable for a children's book.
• The bot accepts a photo only if it shows one child with the face clearly visible. It rejects photos of adults.
• Stories are written for children: language and length suit the age, with no violence or frightening scenes.
• Pictures are checked automatically. If a picture has an obvious error, for example the child is not fully visible, the bot redraws it.

The parent decides

An adult uses the bot; children do not talk to the AI. After payment the bot sends the first page, and the remaining pages are made only after you approve it. You can change the first page once for free.

Automatic checks don't catch everything: the AI may mix up a detail, draw an extra object or choose an awkward word. Read the finished book yourself before you read it to your child.

Limits

The hero in the illustrations captures your child's general look, but not an exact portrait likeness. The book is for reading and play. It is not a teaching, medical or psychological aid.

Data

A photo is optional and needs separate consent before upload. The original photo is deleted after 48 hours, intermediate pictures after 7 days, finished files after 21 days. We do not sell data or use it for advertising. Details are in the Privacy policy.

If something is wrong

If the book contains something unsuitable for a child, write to us on Telegram at @Anna_Derevenskaya or at 59638289@bk.ru. We fix obvious defects under section 6 of the offer.
